The old painting Gallery
Among the many museums in Munich, the Old Painting Gallery can be said to be the oldest one. It is one of the oldest art galleries in the world and one of the most famous art galleries for collecting the works of early "master painters". It collects the works of painters from the Middle Ages to the middle of the 18th century, not only Durer, Raphael, Titian, El Greco, Rubens, Rembrandt and Bouche, it is also the only museum in Germany with Da Vinci's works!
Munich's Alte Pinakothek has a collection of paintings from the European Renaissance and Baroque periods. Founded in 1836, it is one of the oldest art museums in the world! The collection includes works by many European artists from the 14th to 18th centuries, including but not limited to religious subjects, portraits, landscapes and more!

The Museum of Modern Art
The building of the Modern Art Painting Gallery is a simple geometric frame structure. The German name of the Modern Art Museum literally means "Modern Painting Museum", but its collection is much more than paintings, including the Modern Art Museum (Sammlung ModerneKunst), the National Image Art Museum (Staatliche Graphische Sammlung), the National Image Art Museum (Staatliche Graphische Sammlung). It is located in the Munich Art District and is one of the three major art museums in Munich together with the Old Painting Gallery and the New Painting Gallery. Built in 2002, the museum focuses on the collection and display of modern and contemporary art works, with a collection of more than 520,000 pieces, which is one of the largest modern and contemporary art museums in the world.
The pavilion covers an area of 22,000 square meters, the central domed hall is supported by a number of grey and white columns, and four independent pavilions are built around the hall, presenting the design concept of "four in one". Art Section: The Modern Art Collection displays more than 20,000 works of art from 1900 to the present day, including paintings, sculpture, photography and new media forms. Important exhibits include Ernst Ludwig Kirchner's "Bohemian Forest Lake", Franz Marc's "Mandrills" and Florence Henri's "The Workers of the Gare Saint-Lazare".
Prints and Drawings: Munich's National Collection of Graphic Art houses more than 400,000 works on paper, from the 12th to the 21st century. Important collections include Leonardo Da Vinci's Principles of Gold Processing, Rembrandt's Three Crosses, Durer's Escape to Egypt, and Ernst Ludwig Kirchner's Naked Girl Indoors.
Design area: The International Design Museum in Munich has a collection of more than 100,000 works, covering the fields of industrial design, graphic design, computer culture, automobiles and handicrafts. Architecture Exhibition Area: The Museum of the Department of Architecture of the Technical University of Munich collects and displays architectural models and documents from the 16th century, focusing on German architectural works from the 19th to the 21st century.
