Chatsworth House, better known as Darcy House, is the home of Mr. Darcy, the setting for the film Pride and Prejudice. It is actually the mansion of the hereditary Duke of Devonshire (Dukes of Devonshire), located in Derbyshire, England, in the North of England Peak District National Park, half an hour's drive from Sheffield.
It has belonged to the Cavendish family since 1549, and is now inherited by the 12th Duke of Devonshire, and is also known as "Darcy House" because it was used as Mr. Darcy's residence in the film Pride and Prejudice.
