📍White Pocket

The White Pocket is the Red Bluff National Monument on the border of Arizona and Utah, a unique natural feature known for its strange rock shapes and colorful rock formations.
At first glance, it is as if you are on another planet, and the rocks have been carved into various colorful lines by time, which is extremely spectacular and shocking. This is a miracle of nature, an exquisitely carved treasure, whether from the grain of the rock, the direction, the curvature of the curve, are like magic wand Pointers like magic.

Optimum time
Spring and autumn are recommended, as summer can be very hot and winter can be colder. The flowers in spring and the weather in autumn are more pleasant.

Traffic trip
The White Pocket is relatively remote and not directly accessible by public transport. Usually, tourists choose to drive. From major cities in Arizona, such as Phoenix or Las Vegas, drive to the White Pocket.

The signature landform of the white pocket is the brain flower stone, and after years of wind and rain, their surface has been carved into various irregular polygons. You may wonder if you are really in this magical place. If you're lucky enough to arrive at sunset, you'll see that this rippled white landscape is even more vivid under the pink sky.

📍The wave
In order to protect the natural landscape, you need to draw lots to enter, when you follow the grain of the sandstone, touch the exquisite wave traces, as if you can feel the traces of sandstorms carved here hundreds of millions of years ago, you will be amazed by the magic of nature.
After four or five days in a row near kanab, Utah, I was lucky enough to get into the famous wave on the last day (reportedly only 3% of winners!). After seeing the Wave Valley, I understood why this ticket was so difficult to draw, because it was really beautiful and special.

The wave is located in the desert on the border of Utah and Arizona, where wind and water erosion have created unique wave-like rock textures. This trail only lets 64 people in every day, so the whole hiking experience is really awesome! The whole time, you can hardly see anyone else, as if there were only you and the rocks that surround you in different shapes.

All the way through the desert, small hills, at the first sight of the main wave, completely forget the exhaustion along the way, only to be deeply shocked by the sight! The uneven texture on a piece of red rock is colorful, like being hit by a huge wave, and you have to sigh that nature is the best artist.

About the draw
There are two ways to draw the lottery, one is the early lottery, which is drawn four months in advance, and the tickets will be sent to you after the drawing. the second way is to draw two days in advance, you need to enter the lottery near kanab/page (geofence's map is available on the official website, it is OK to enter geofence) and notify the result on the night after entering the lottery. If you win, you need to go to the visitor center early the next morning to get the ticket, and go to the wave on the third day.

Travel tips:
▪️ Personally, I feel that noon is the best way to photograph wavy patterns, because the main wave is several hills connected together, only at noon there will be no shadow of hills printed on the ground, the wavy patterns on the rocks will be very obvious. But the light will be strong, a little blinding.
▪️ It is best to download the offline map on alltrails in advance. It is about more than 6 miles to go to the wave, but the trail marks in many places are not obvious, and it is easy to go wrong. Although the visitor center will send paper maps, but I feel that the mobile map is more convenient to use ~
▪️ In addition to the main wave, there is also a second wave and mini wave that go a bit further and are also worth watching!
▪️The wave trail is uncovered throughout, and part of it is in sand, so make sure you bring plenty of water! Put on your walking shoes!

📍Grand Canyon National Park
Every inch of the Grand Canyon is a masterpiece of nature, and those gorgeous rock formations seem to tell the story of the earth for millions of years. Walking on the Skywalk, the foot is the abyss, the kind of shock, enough to let you forget! The Grand Canyon at sunset is breathtaking, and every photo will make your circle of friends explode!

I've been thinking about this place ever since I learned about it in my geography books, and now I've finally seen it. We stayed in the small town of Tusayan, which had some hotels and a few restaurants, but not a lot of choice (enough for daily living).
Then you can drive to the entrance of the Grand Canyon for about 15 minutes, and the guard at the door will give you a map of the Grand Canyon (you must keep it and do not throw it away, there is a detailed bus route map).

Here is open 24 hours a day, we play here for 2 days and 2 nights (this time is generally enough), if the time is not very sufficient partners, in fact, half a day can also be used (take photos to see a sunset is enough to use). But for the depth of the small partners who want to play a week is also possible (for their own walking down the depth of play).

📍Monument Valley
When you come to Monument Valley, you have the illusion of walking into a western movie scene, feeling that you have come to the end of the world, and countless orange-red rocks are located in the desert, towering. The huge red rock columns that stand, and the endless desert plains, make a striking picture. Sunrise and sunset here are an amazing visual feast, friends who like photography must come! The site still belongs to the Navajo tribe, so an annual pass for a national park won't work.

📍Devil Bridge
Sedona is the home of God, a sacred place, and the most beautiful town in America, and Devil's Bridge is its most sought-after attraction, exuding otherworldly beauty every step of the way. One of the largest natural rock arches in the Sedona region, seven kilometers in length, there is a section of the road that needs to climb hands and feet, not difficult, you can help each other! Once you reach the top, you can have a great view of Sedona, and it is also a great place to watch the sunset, which many tourists come for.

Three mountain roads:

From here, the route meets the main Devil's Bridge Road, a round trip of about 4 miles. This is the route we chose, after crossing a stream, the road conditions became extremely smooth, only the last 15 minutes on hands and feet, overall not difficult, very suitable for hiking. Five stars recommended!

Devil's Bridge Trailhead: This road is only for off-road 4WD drive, rough road conditions, no off-road experience with caution.

Devil's Bridge is so popular that you can wait in line for an hour or two to take photos on holidays. The best time to shoot is early in the morning, and those Instagram photos are all in the morning, with the best light. We choose to leave in the afternoon, the flow of people is relatively small, and February is the off-season, there is no need to queue.

📍Antelope Canyon

Antelope Valley is the world's famous slit canyon, here is divided into two antelope valley, the upper valley to see the light, the lower valley to see the color, whether you want to feel the light of God or experience a sense of adventure, here can meet you, the nearby horseshoe Bay is also very worthy of punch together!
Located in Arizona, it is one of the most breathtaking natural attractions in the Western United States! The canyon is famous for its fine sandstone troughs, spectacular orange cliffs and spectacular light and shadow effects.

Antelope Canyon is divided into Upper Antelope Canyon and Lower Antelope Canyon. The Upper Antelope Canyon is famous for its flat ground and spacious passageways, where sunlight casts magical beams of light through the gaps above, creating fascinating light and shadow effects. The Lower Antelope Canyon is more winding and narrow, and its spectacular rippled rock formations and dome shapes are breathtaking.

Antelope Canyon is a result of flash flood erosion, rapid flow of water through narrow channels, creating a corridor at the bottom of the canyon and a special topography of the valley walls.
