MIT Museum of Science and Art
This museum is by far the most hardcore of all the science museums I have been to. It is not only the exhibits but also the hard concept. It represents the most cutting-edge technology at present.
There are three things that I personally feel the most, the interactivity of the museum. All visitors entering the museum can go through the process shown in 3-6 to generate a dynamic model by setting some key information.
And then you interact with the MIT community, and I think the most important value is that no matter what kind of person you are, you can find peers here. A particular code is a separate part of the MIT data model. It's interesting and memorable. This kind of interaction can be seen throughout the museum and the experience is so intense that you almost forget the solar sail. At that time, we did two: one heaven and one here, humanistic thinking in the development of science.
In the second part, there's something about genes that really moved me. At the present stage of scientific development, the technical problems have been solved, but is it possible to develop without limits? This section highlights the possible effects of gene editing on various species on Earth
The effect of putting back in the natural environment on the species is intended to cause the audience to wonder whether we should do it at all. It's every virus we know of
It's advances in genetic technology that allow us to identify them quickly
To find a way to subdue them
By the way, this is the cutting edge of genetic technology, and you can see that the most advanced sequencers are already tiny. And the domestic use is still the old big stuff, don't ask me how I know, I just know. About 97% of the world's sequencers are American illumina's combination of technology and art.
The exhibition of this museum is quite artistic, and MIT also emphasizes its artistry, which I think is to reverse everyone's stereotype of science as cold. Laser holographic projection can be seen in the AI theme hall.
The world's first robot (yes, he was born at MIT) has research based on neural network models, which play a key role in the recognition of human expressions by AI robots. The aesthetic presentation of architectural design cannot present the core exhibits of MIT MUSEUM
That's a good ticket to the Boston Children's Museum
Tickets for the Boston Erbo every Sunday afternoon are only $1 per person, there is a $4 procession fee for online purchase, and no extra cost for on-site purchase.
Roadside pa is difficult to find, the small parking lot diagrammed opposite the museum is the nearest, but it takes more than 20 dollars to park once. Passing the small parking lot, the parking building at the next corner if there is a son Bo stamp is 15 dollars a time. There's a parking lot on the other side of the bridge that says stamp's only $9
The $1 ticket on Sunday is only available from 1pm to 4pm, after which the boy Bo closes. But after this time, you can go to Allston for a kawakan or a Jolin, so you don't have to wait in line too long.
