It is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the culture of the Polynesian region, and all proceeds are used for ongoing organizational operations and to support BYU-H students who work part-time on the campus. Since its establishment 56 years ago, it has provided education funds for more than 30,000 students.


The whole park is composed of Polynesian villages from six Pacific islands: Hawaii, Tonga Tonga, Samoa, Aotearoa, New Zealand, Fiji, Tahiti and Tahiti. You can visit indigenous art and dance, traditional culture and customs

Wednesdays and Sundays are closed, opening hours are 12pm-9pm, there is a discount on the official website, booking 10 days in advance can also discount 15%, tickets are subdivided into eight stalls. Personally, I think the Gateway Buffet Package (150 RMB) is very good, including tickets for one day's play, Gateway Buffet for dinner and designated seats for song and dance performances in the evening. Of course, there are also different tickets that are more luxurious and cheaper, and you can decide according to your time. The cultural center opens at 12:30, and I had planned to spend the day there. When I booked the ticket, I directly booked the tour bus near Waikiki (plus $30), and the bus directly picked me up and back, which was very easy!

Each park has a cultural display and performance, the most impressive is Tonga, the host will select 3 men in the audience to participate in the interaction, it is hilarious! [Attention men], at least one Asian face will be chosen, and you may be the lucky one. At the show I watched, a no-nonsense Korean 60+ man who didn't speak much English was called on. The other two men were from the UK and Canada, so the host called them by their country names, it seems to have escalated to a competition between countries . The British and Canadian players are very open, dancing and drumming are playing very hi, for the third appearance of the South Korean uncle made a cold sweat, but unexpectedly, the uncle with awkward weird dancing and Shouting slogans won the audience the most enthusiastic cheers and applause, praise for this uncle, brave to fly yourself!

✅ Game experience, all activities can be experienced, from fishing (not fun to catch), tattoo (fun! Tahiti, water can be washed), drilling wood fire (very fun! NPCS are so handsome! (both Tonga and Satsuma have windmills and small fish woven from coconut leaves.)
