Today, I would like to recommend the Treasure Museum in Seattle. I myself am not a person who likes to go to museums (because I feel a little boring), so interesting museums will let me remember deeply. To share this treasure site that let me exclaim again and again, first of all, the appearance of the entire museum is very distinctive, silver, red purple, blue three contrasting buildings combined. The whole museum is divided into three floors, which is very suitable for families to play!
Located in downtown Seattle, it is one of the three must-punch attractions, next to the Space Needle, and you can visit together if you have enough time. There were free street parties around the museum, but we were so lucky that we parked in the parking lot across the street, $20 for 2 hours, and we didn't want to go too far in the rain, so we had to pay high parking fees in silence.
After entering the door, you need to line up for tickets, if you take an umbrella then you need to deposit, access card is the shape of a guitar pick, it is lovely, because before, so the fixed exhibition on the second floor is just around.
May be because it happens to meet the Star Wars May the 4th be with you theme event, so many people oh, there seems to be a screening hall on the first floor, and Star Wars movies are shown in the afternoon.
The museum is richer and more fun than I expected, with many interactive installations showing the development and change of popular elements in different fields,
On the second floor, there are several small exhibition halls with guitars and independent games, and you can also see the Taiye of the Chinese game Moon Shadow! Although I have bought fantasy & horror & sci-fi (horror isn't really scary).
Best of all, there is a sound lab on the third floor of the museum, which offers many Musical Instruments and even a recording studio. Although there is a time limit, everyone can play and experience it, which is very interesting.
The sound lab on the third floor has a lot of single room piano room/drum room. After entering, you can use 10min to experience different music styles and freestyle. It is so fun. There is also a stop-motion exhibition, and the main purpose of this visit is to go straight to the [special exhibition on the third floor] : Hidden Worlds, showing the design and production process and models of animated films produced by LAIKA Films. The exhibition will run until August 11, 2024, so if you haven't seen it yet, hurry up.
Friends who like baby houses and 3D printing, in the face of this beautiful stop-motion animation model is absolutely difficult to resist, large to the entire house model, small to the interior, clothing, who can not be confused.
The shooting method of stop motion animation has been improving, LAIKA company relies on its powerful 3D printing technology, as well as its own unique animation style, making stop motion animation a unique art. The exhibition features models of Coraline, ParaNorman, The Boxtrolls, Kubo and the Two Strings, and Missing Link. There are also interactive areas at the exit where you can take a four-frame photo with your friends. Make a mini stop-motion animation. It's really fun.
Where to play on a rainy day in Seattle? You can't go wrong with an exhibition. I thought it was a very small museum, and as a result, we played until the museum closed and left in a hurry. It is recommended to go early and allow 3 hours. Next to Seattle's only monorail, you can direct $6 near dt nordstorm, after visiting the museum, you can also go to the city to eat and buy.
