Hanamaki City in Iwate Prefecture is Kenji's hometown. In order to commemorate this man, this place has been built into a fairy tale city, and the shadow of his fairy tale world is everywhere.
Kenji Miyazawa's fairy tale world is mainly in [Hanamaki Station] and [New Hanamaki Station], and I will introduce some small attractions worth visiting in the next two travel notes.
【 New Hanamaki Station 】
Kenji Miyazawa Fairytale Village
The Fairytale Village site is very large, mainly divided into six exhibition areas. Personally, I like the two exhibition areas Kenji の School and Kenji の classroom. [Kenji の] Dream Hall and Sky Plaza are good places to take photos. Kenji の room is the most interesting area, consisting of five cabins, each related to Kenji's research and fairy tales, as well as a variety of interesting experiences, well worth a visit. There is a building made of glass in the middle of the square of the park, which is very mysterious and dreamy after being lit up at night.
Fairytale Village is 1.2 km from Shin-Hanamaki Station. It takes only 11 minutes to get to Shin-Hanamaki by Shin-ken Line from Morioka Station. ? This station is on the Shinkansen line from Tokyo to Morioka/Aomori/Akita, and you are bound to pass Shin-Hanamaki on this line.
Miyazawa Kenji Fairy Village and Miyazawa Kenji Memorial Museum both require admission, but as long as you take the "Tozawa Line" bus from Shin-Hanomaki Station and get off at Miyazawa Kenji Memorial Station, you can ask the driver for a pass for Figure 11, which is free, you only need to pay the bus transportation fee of 170 yen one way.
The driver I met said that the ticket was finished, giant pit father, fortunately I took a picture of the appearance of the bus, and quickly went to the fairy Village ticket office to explain the situation, and the little sister was also very straightforward and gave me the pass. The bus runs 5 times a day, very rarely, the last one even after Fairy Village closes.
The Miyazawa Kenji Memorial is across the road from Fairytale Village, and there are 367 steps to climb, which are even highlighted on the map. The memorial is a regular life and other exhibition, not suitable for photography. Next to the Miyazawa Kenji Memorial Hall, there is an outdoor garden, which is also designed according to the story of Miyazawa Kenji, and there are no tickets.
Collecting wool Guide:
The three places I have introduced are all very close to each other, and it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to get there from the New Hanamaki Station by the Isawa Line bus, and you can get a pass for free visits to five places including the Miyazawa Kenji Memorial Hall and the Miyazawa Kenji Fairytale Village. 【 Kenji Miyazawa Memorial Hall 】-【 Kenji Miyazawa Fairy Tale Village 】-【 Ideal Country 】 These three places have free buses from time to time. If you want to save money, you should use the pass together with the free bus.
Another station related to Kenji, Hanamaki Station, is a niche tourist attraction.
【 Hanamaki Station 】
Northeast Galaxy Railway の night
In the west of Huamaki Station 350 meters north, there is a 10m high, 80m long fluorescent paint mural with the theme of the fairy tale "Galaxy Railway Night", called "Future City Galaxy Earth Railway Mural". The best aspects of this fluorescent work are displayed from sundown to 22:00 each day.
The reason I like this story is mostly empathy with the hero ジョバンニ : the same possessive sadness, but solved by self-opening - "Why do I always feel so sad?" Must have a broader, more magnanimous mind!" . Knowing this, the empty time in the future must be able to shorten some.
In "Night on the Milky Way Railway", the train stops at Swan Station for twenty minutes at 11am, during which time カムパネルラ and ジョバンニ walk to the nearby Plymouth coast to visit, and after talking to their professor, "fearing they might miss the train, they run to the station. They run like the wind, without wheezing or aching legs." This adventure is also similar to my visiting experience, the interval between the two trains before and after the Huamaki station is not long, in order to see more of this mural, I can only watch the time to run back to the station, but I am not tired at all.
Today, when I plan to share this experience with you, I once again think of the ultimate question of life, which is also the clue throughout the whole text of the fairy tale: I am here now, or I am somewhere in the world in the future, and I have been searching for the definition of happiness in the journey of life. How much do I know about happiness while pursuing it?
Why don't you take another ride and watch it again?
So for me now: "If I could run that fast forever, it wouldn't be a problem to run around the world."
Travel route planning Suggestions:
Although the next two travelogues introduce a lot of attractions, but are some small attractions, basically 1 day can play through.
Because the scenic area of new Huabaki is larger than that of Huabaki, it is recommended to visit the scenic spots of [New Huabaki station] in the morning, and the time will be more abundant.
Arrive at [Hanamaki Station] around 3 p.m., you can go to [Lin Fengshe] first, have a cup of coffee and a dessert break, and then wait until the hour to see the Galaxy train and stroll around the streets of Hanamaki country. If it's still early, check out a nearby restaurant for Iwate's specialty snack, [わんこそば] (soba noodles), and wait until dark before walking to the future City Galaxy Earth Tetsudo.
This route planning time is relatively abundant, and there are many sightseeing spots. Trust me, it will be a very satisfying and fulfilling day!
