A mountain with a rainbow is called Death Valley!

The English name of Death Valley National Park is Death Valley National Park, it is the largest national park in the United States (except Alaska), there are canyons, salt fields, sand dunes and other natural landscapes, the hottest (historical high temperature 57 degrees) and the lowest spot in the United States are here.

🚍 Transportation:

Death Valley is located between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, can only be driven to, most students route is: Los Angeles > Las Vegas and the surrounding 3-4 nights > Return visit Death Valley (recommended to stay overnight, convenient to watch the sunset/starry sky).

‣ Furnace Creek Gas Station is located next to the Visitor center.
‣ You are advised not to drive the tram to Death Valley, there is no overcharge in the park (the nearest overcharge is in Beatty, an hour away), there is a slow charge, but it can break.

Good news for self-driving enthusiasts! The flat surface and sparse traffic make it the perfect place to shoot a large stretch of road. Here, you can unleash your fast and furious!

🔆 Zabriskie Point

The most popular viewing spot in the park, 5 minutes walk from the car is the viewing spot, the sunset scenery is the most beautiful.

🔆 Badwater Basin Badwater Basin

The view will definitely open your eyes! Imagine a dry lake surrounded by majestic mountains, as if you were in a fantasy world. Don't forget to bring your camera to capture this stunning view!

Here is the lowest point of the North American continent, about 86 meters below the sea level, the main component of the ground material is edible salt, from the parking lot to the deep basin walk about 20 minutes, to take a good view.

🔆 Saltland Devil's Golf Course

Choose to go to the scenic spot, here was a large lake 2000 years ago, the lake dried up, the surface was eroded by wind and rain into a jagged shape, if you listen carefully, you may also hear the faint sound of salt crystal expansion and breaking. Salt blocks are hard and sharp when walking. Be careful when you touch them.

Colorful sand dunes. Doesn't that sound dreamy? The sand dunes here display fascinating colors in the sun, and standing on top of them, overlooking the entire Valley of Death, is simply breathtaking!

The largest dune area in the park is photographed and a 30-minute drive from the visitor center. Walk from the parking lot to the depth of the dune for 30 minutes, the vegetation/footprints will be less, and the right Angle can be taken to shoot the desert feeling. For those of you with the ability to get up early, you can watch Desert Sunrise.

🔆Artist Palette

Artist Palette on Artist Drive, this path on the mountains are colorful, some of the mountains are particularly beautiful green! Artist drive needs to go back after seeing badwater basin, because it is one-way (orange arrow direction on map).
