In the woods to see the exhibition

📍McMichael Canadian Art Collection
10365 Islington Ave, Kleinburg, ON

Today I went to a wonderful Art museum, the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, which is located in the forest of the small town of Kleinburg, about 30 minutes from Toronto.

The museum has more than 7,000 works of art on two floors, and there are many trails suitable for walking around, combining art and scenery. There are many interesting works in the museum, and there is a tent on the second floor where you can sit and watch movies. There are many large floor-to-ceiling Windows in the museum. When you are tired, you can sit in front of the window to rest and look at the dense trees. It is very comfortable.

The whole art gallery is located in a forest. The wooden house ➕ with its large floor-to-ceiling glass Windows is particularly beautiful, especially in this season, when the red, gold, green leaves intermingle with each other, which is itself a work of art.

When I went, I also saw people taking wedding photos & holding weddings. When I left, I saw a lot of people in evening gowns walking in, probably some kind of art dinner. Anyway, it's a beautiful place to punch in.

the recent exhibition River of Dreams: Impressionism on the St.Lawrence, celebrating the 150th anniversary of the first exhibition of Impressionism, highlights how Canadian art was influenced, particularly by the experiences of Quebec artists studying in Paris. Their work depicting the banks of the St. Lawrence River reflects Canada's transition from rural to industrial. Montreal-born artist A.Y. Jackson played an important role in promoting their legacy and had a profound impact on Canadian art.

One of the things to love about McMichael is that it is located in a 400-acre nature reserve, where you can enjoy the peace and beauty of nature while enjoying wonderful art. Whether inside the pavilion or outdoors, it is a place for inspiration.

Just outside the museum is the small town of Kleinburg, full of coffee shops and ice cream shops. Old Firehall's Blueberry lavender and Piatachio are excellent, and many of the fine dining along the main thoroughfare are mainly Italian. The recommended route is to go to the art museum in the afternoon, take a trail or ride a bike, the art museum is closed at five o 'clock, and after visiting the art museum, have a dinner in the town, simply not too happy.

Adult tickets are usually $20, the third Sunday of each month is free, and new immigrants can also enjoy free tickets with Canoo, inform the staff at the front desk, and then show the App and ID.

The Art Museum has its own paid parking lot, the price is $7, we parked in the Kleinburg Library next to the venue, free, it takes 10 minutes to walk to the venue, Kleinburg town also has a free 3-hour parking space on the street.
