The Regalera Estate, also known as the "Palace of Millionaire Monteiro", is said to have been a dentist at the time (I know that dentists are very rich, but I still underestimate the degree of wealth, and the world view opens again).

An aristocratic mansion dating back to the 15th century. The architecture of the manor reflects the Renaissance and Baroque styles of the time. Known as the "jewel of the world", it has fairy-tale beautiful scenery and rich historical sites. It's true!

It includes the romantic Regalera Palace Regalera Chapel, as well as a luxurious park with lakes, caves, Wells, benches, fountains and a variety of fine architecture. The building is also known as the "Palace of the Millionaire Monteiro", after the nickname of the first owner.

The buildings in the Legalera estate have pure white, intricately carved facades, which give people a delicate and eerie feeling.

Although it is not the work of the royal family, in my opinion, it is a better place to visit than the Pena Palace, the spokesman of Sintra.

In addition to the manor buildings and gardens, the most famous and attractive attraction is a 27-meter deep dry well, the end of the cave outlet is just the middle of the well, the well is surrounded by a spiral staircase, a total of nine spiral levels, symbolizing the nine cycles of heaven, hell and Purgatory described by Dante. In the modern Legalera manor, there is also a circular cellar with a straight barrel downward, resembling a "nine-story demon tower" according to Chinese legend.

There's so much connectivity here, you can't imagine where you'll come out of this tunnel. When turning the stone door of the wellhead activity, we had to admire the exquisite idea of the owner of the manor, which almost met all our imagination and expectations of the maze in childhood.

There are also cave pools, mysterious gardens and towers, and multiple tunnels, some with lights and some without. In fact, each cave is part of a huge maze, sometimes a dead end, sometimes you can go through the other end, sometimes inexplicable detour, adventure lovers, worth studying.

I feel that the architecture of the whole Regalera Manor is beautiful with a sadness and mystery, and "confusing" is the most appropriate way to describe it! In addition to the architecture, there are many strange tree species also wantonly grow, like suddenly breaking into the magic secret, novel and must be careful.

And the strangest thing is that I have been to Sintra several times, and every time Lisbon is sunny, the first time there is a haze, just to add a lot of mystery to the Legalera palace!

My favorite shop in the Regalera Estate: a paradise of mysticism with vines, moss and abundant plants, the highlight of Initiation Well is a spiral staircase - also known as the nine-story Tower. Entering the estate is like entering a magical fairy maze.
