Le Mignonisme (May 7 - September 29) | Mr. Rose | Mr. Pink can be seen on the streets of Montreal today. The author is Philipe Katerine, who may not know him as the little Blue Man in the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics.
About Mr. Pink: This series of pink, playful and adorable large sculptures are called "Mr. Pink" and they are a symbol of "Le mignonisme" (cute culture). It is an art movement founded by French singer, actor and artist Philippe Katerine to celebrate the beauty of simplicity and the wonder of ordinary life.
About Mr. Pink's footprints: They live in Downtown Montreal's entertainment districts (Quartier des Spectacles, Place des Arts, Centre Eaton de Montreal, Place Trust) Montreal Trust, Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth, Place Ville Marie and Square Phillips...
On high roofs, next to colored fountains, under shiny rings, on giant screens... Mr. Pink adds a touch of dreamy color to the vibrant city, allowing you and I to slow down in the hurried journey and soak in the fairy tale romantic world.
💕 Number one Mr. Pink
Located in front of Montreal's new landmark, The Grand Ring, there are different art activities throughout the year, eat next to the Food court Le Cathcart, and in the evening, there is ba,r or the old chain steakhouse The Keg.
💗 Mr. Pink number two
Located in front of the five-star Elisabeth Philmont Hotel, this hotel's French Roselys I think is typical of expensive but not delicious, but their terrace bar Nacarat has a superb view of the Great Hoop, The food isa little pricey and not very good value for money, but the cocktails are good, also at the Krema cafe and Artisans on the first floor of the Amway Hotel.
💓 Mr. Pink number three
Located in Montreal Trust shopping Mall, this shopping mall has nothing special to recommend, but I really like to browse the winners inside and find good bargains.
💖 Mr. Pink number four
Located in front of the Eaton center. The mall has a fine food court Time Out Market. You can taste different cuisines here. And each stall is from a popular local restaurant. Blind selection has a high fault tolerance rate.
💞 Mr. Pink number five
Located in Piaza ii Focolaio, next to Piaza Square, is an open flame pizza not to be missed. Black truffle or seafood flavors are recommended. Just opposite is Briks Hotel, a famous Canadian jewelry brand. The Henri Brasserie French food in the hotel is good in appearance and taste
💘 Mr. Pink numbers eight through ten
Located in the most artistic area of Montreal. There are different art festivals throughout the year. A personal favorite is the Jazz Festival every summer. The feeling of the whole square moving to the music with the summer breeze is wonderful. I'd like to recommend two lovely ice cream shops nearby. Havre aux Glaces and Chocolats Favoirs.
💘 Eleven Mr. Pink
💕 Twelve Mr. Pink
Set on a small balcony in Esplanade tranquille, a government-renovated public cultural space with a cozy outdoor cafe in summer, In winter there is an ice skating rink, as well as a multi-purpose building which includes common areas for resting: Cafe galaxxie Brasserie restaurant, game rental counter and self-service library.
💘 Mr. Pink thirteen
Located in front of Le central Food Center. Google rating 4.5. This food hub is home to more than 25 restaurants and bars with different cuisines. It's good for a group of friends to punch in and it's good for dating.
On Mr. Pink's artistic philosophy: Philippe Katerine said, "Mr. Pink is flawed, and yet he waves at you undefensively and says Hi! I hope he can make people accept their flaws, anxieties and heartbreaks so that we can truly see the loveliness in ourselves."
Yes, we often say that there is a perfect life, but it is a laugh at life! Look at Mr. Pink, round body, bare head, in addition to the heart has a wound, only 4 fingers, but never mind waving to say hello. So, to learn from Mr. Pink, no matter in adversity, may we all have the power to heal!
