In Seattle, the Space Needle is a must-see. So I took the light rail to the site of the Space Needle. To Seattle, have not been to the Space Needle, just like to Paris, have not seen the Paris Tower as disappointing, the completion of the Space Needle has to start from 1959.
The Space Needle is an observation tower located in Seattle, Washington, United States, and is one of the landmarks of Seattle. The Space Needle was built in 1961 for the 1962 World's Fair, which welcomed 2.3 million visitors.
At 184 meters high and 158 meters above the ground, the Space Needle was one of the tallest buildings in the western United States when it was completed. The Space Needle is 42 meters wide at its widest point, weighs 9,550 tons, and is designed to withstand a 9.1 magnitude earthquake and winds of 10 kilometers per hour. In addition, 25 lightning rods are installed on the tower.
When I got off the light rail station, I was greeted by a robot model.
The main facilities of the Space Needle are located on the 159-meter-above ground sightseeing level, such as the Sky City restaurant and boutique. Standing at the top of the tower, you can see not only the entire downtown Seattle landscape, but also the Olympic Mountains, the Cascades, Mount Rainier, Eliad Bay and its nearby islands.
The Space Needle has also served as a location for several films and television series, such as the Black Angel of the Last Days, the Black Super Police Team, and the King of the Convex Affairs. In addition, in 2013, the music video for the single "Can't Hold Us" by Seattle-based American indie rap duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis was also shot here, and the video was nominated for Best Short Music Video at the 56th Grammy Awards.
The sunset view from the tower is highly recommended!
Tips for buying tickets
Tickets can be purchased separately on the space needle website. You can also purchase the Seattle city pass (see the last two images), which includes a day/night ticket that allows you to visit the space needle tower once during the day and at night, weekdays and weekends.
For example, make an appointment to go to the tower once in the morning or afternoon, and you can go to the tower again at 7-10 o 'clock on the same day, and you can just watch the sunset in summer.

How to take photos
Paper photos are chargeable, but electronic ones are free! Photos can be viewed on the space needle self-service machine after a period of time, and electronic photos can be sent to personal email for free. The only disadvantage is that the self-service machine is not very easy to use, the bar code is easy to accidentally sweep twice, so the basic manual input.
Behind the Space Needle is the Pacific Science Center, a science museum in the heart of the city. It features interactive exhibits covering a wide range of scientific topics such as physics, biology, astronomy and technology.
The center also houses a tropical butterfly house, an IMAX theater, a planetarium, and regularly hosts special exhibitions and events. It is a popular destination for families, students and science lovers.
